About Us

Pleasant Ridge Bar & Grill has been a beloved gathering place in Dodgeville, WI, since 2000, proudly serving Iowa County and surrounding communities. Owner Charlie Rolli purchased the establishment from a retired Army nurse who originally operated the space as a welcoming community hub where friends, neighbors, and local families could come together. Maintaining that same spirit of connection, Charlie has spent more than two decades transforming Pleasant Ridge into the destination it is today.

What began as a traditional neighborhood beer bar gradually evolved over the years. First came an expanded beverage selection with wine offerings, followed by the addition of a full kitchen and a menu focused on quality, homemade favorites. Charlie invested heavily in the property's growth, remodeling the space with upgrades such as a commercial kitchen, walk-in cooler, and other improvements designed to create a comfortable, family-friendly environment for the entire community.

Today, Pleasant Ridge Bar & Grill is known for its fresh-ground burgers, chicken and fish sandwiches, hearty appetizers, and crowd-favorite weekly specials, including Thursday Rib Night, Friday Fish Fry, and Saturday Steak Night. Guests can enjoy live music, pet-friendly outdoor seating, gaming machines, foosball, and an impressive selection of draft beers, including Guinness, alongside cocktails, mocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Loved the Bella Mushrooms, Shrimp Po Boy, Boom Boom Burger, Fish Sandwich, and Cordon Blue Chicken Sandwich. Bonus points they sold the honey mustard they use by the bottle - our group bought 4 it's so good!
